At Fall Convocation, the Washington College community heard words of wisdom from Terry Scout, Professor of Business Management Emeritus. In his keynote address, the winner of the 2015 Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching regaled the audience with stories from the classroom and described how his three favorite books—the Bible, The Old Man and the Sea, and Alice in Wonderland—informed his approach to teaching. Jordan T. Yelinek ’02 received the Alumni Horizon Ribbon for outstanding leadership, and trophies were awarded to the classes who won the “Count Me In!” challenge in support of The Washington Fund.
